So I'm a huge wimp and can't let my kids cry it out to teach them to sleep, so I had been waking up with Crew every 2-3 hours, sometimes more. I couldn't do it anymore. I was such an exhausted mess. I cried all the time. His doctor, at his 6 month check-up, told me I needed to just let him cry to learn to fall asleep on his own. Not anything I hadn't already heard. So Curt and I decided we had to do it. So we made a plan that I just had to let him cry himself to sleep during naps and at night and we would do it on the weekend so Curt could help me through it. So I talked to Crew about it, told him I loved him, laid him down, and left. Expecting to hear screaming, I was shocked to hear silence. So I went in to check on him 5 minutes later, and he was out. The next nap and then through the night, he kept doing it. He is now sleeping 10-11 hours through the night with no crying!! I have an amazing baby!! I also know Heavenly Father answered my many prayers and knew I couldn't do it anymore. I am so thankful. I can't believe what a huge difference it makes to get some sleep. I have been the happiest mom ever!

This is EXTREMELY important! I trained Araleigh around 5 months . . and she has been a saint sleeper every night. She goes right to bed at 8 EVERY night . . and if I don't take her in . . she goes in there herself and waits! Its the best gift ever! I cannot go without my sleep!
There is nothing like a good nights sleep to a busy mommy! I am so happy for you!

I hate to have them cry too!!! I was a wimp that way but with Kaden I tried it sooner and was much happier with the results. Similar to yours! Congratulations on being brave!!!
